Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Monday Labs LLC regarding your use of Wordcountr at wordcountr.app.

By accessing or using Wordcountr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login method secure, and promptly update your details if they change.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the activity results from our own security failure.

You may use Wordcountr only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate the rights of others.

You agree that all text submitted to Wordcountr must not submit sensitive personal data, special-category data, health or medical data, biometric data, government-issued identifier numbers, payment card data, financial account credentials, personal data about children, or trade secrets and other highly confidential information unless Monday Labs LLC has explicitly approved that use in writing.

You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and permissions associated with the content you submit.

Wordcountr offers AI-assisted rewriting and editing features. Those features rely on Microsoft Azure OpenAI and may change, be rate limited, or be unavailable from time to time.

AI-generated output is provided for convenience only. It may be incorrect, incomplete, offensive, outdated, or non-compliant with your legal, editorial, academic, technical, or business requirements. You must review output before relying on it.

Paid features, subscriptions, credit top-ups, and checkout are provided through LemonSqueezy, which acts as merchant of record for purchases completed through its checkout.

LemonSqueezy may calculate, collect, and remit VAT, sales tax, GST, or similar transaction taxes where required. Charges, tax amounts, renewal terms, and billing descriptors may be presented during the checkout flow.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the available billing tools before the next renewal date. Credits are non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and are subject to any plan-specific terms presented at checkout.

Monday Labs LLC and its licensors retain all rights in Wordcountr, including the software, design, branding, and underlying service functionality.

You retain rights you already have in the text you submit. You grant us a limited right to process that text solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service consistent with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access to Wordcountr if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created security risk, used the service unlawfully, or exposed us or others to harm.

You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will continue to apply after termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wordcountr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monday Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or data arising from or related to your use of Wordcountr.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Monday Labs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version here and update the last updated date above. Your continued use of Wordcountr after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
